The Board of Directors of ALSO Youth is pleased to announce the appointment of Donna Hanley as its new Executive Director. Donna comes to Sarasota from upstate New York, where she served as Assistant Executive Director at Vanderheyden, a health and human services agency in Wynantskill, New York.
"Everyone at ALSO is incredibly excited about the new direction that Donna will be able to take the organization and its programs," says Jim Jablonski, Board President at ALSO Youth. "Donna brings not only impressive credentials in the mental health field but also extensive administrative experience in youth and family services. We are thrilled that she is assuming this crucial leadership position."
Donna holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston. She is a former Program and Treatment Coordinator at Parsons Child and Family Center in Albany, New York and a former Director of Clinical Administration at the ChildTrauma Academy at Baylor College of Medicine.
"I am so pleased and excited to join this organization," says Donna. "I moved to Florida to be closer to family, to live in a warmer climate, and now have also found the perfect role to continue my passion and commitment to empowering youth and families. I look forward to working side by side with the Board of Directors of ALSO, its youth, staff, and volunteers, and the kind, caring, and charitable Sarasota area community."
ALSO welcomes Donna and looks forward to working under her guidance and leadership!
