ALSO Youth is proud to partner with local mental health providers to offer free counseling for LGBTQ+ youth and their families.
Always free: no cost to youth or their families
No insurance needed: services are accessible to all
Flexible locations: meet virtually, at an ALSO Youth center, or at the counselor’s office
To indicate interest in utilizing these services, please download the below form, and complete it in full (two pages). Once completed, please email it to therapy@alsoyouth.org or mail to: ALSO Youth, 2195 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34237.
Youth Support Groups
ALSO Youth offers a range of support groups led by facilitators experienced in diverse issues. All groups are available in a hybrid format (in-person or virtual).
OUTside the Lines: A welcoming space for youth to discuss and celebrate their gender identity with peers and a trained facilitator.
QueerABLE: A supportive, facilitator-led group for LGBTQ+ and allied youth who are neurodivergent or disabled to connect and share experiences.
Parents/Guardians Support Group
A supportive circle for parents and guardians to connect with others and a trained facilitator, while learning how to champion their queer youth. Done in partnership with Forty Carrots Family Center.
